An eight-week dog training course designed for dogs that would benefit from developing basic skills for home life, and for people wishing to develop a healthy relationship with their canine companion. Suitable for the general public or those starting in agility and wanting to start off on the right ‘paw’.
Once you learn how to control what is rewarding for your dog and strengthen your relationship through good choices, it is easy for you to teach skills such as sit, come etc. Our classes use positive reinforcement to achieve success and there is equal emphasis on handlers developing both food and interactive play rewards, primarily using tug toys.
Suitable for dogs of any age (must be at least two (2) weeks after the dog’s first round of vaccinations). Minimum vaccination requirement is a C3 or higher or titre testing.
